Kyo-no-oto Sakuranezumi (桜鼠) No.09 is a soft, muted pink with a subtle dusty quality. Inspired by the delicate shades of cherry blossom, Sakuranezumi has a gentle, understated character that makes it particularly lovely for everyday writing, lettering and illustration.
The name Sakuranezumi combines the Japanese words for cherry blossom and mouse-grey, reflecting the subdued, slightly greyed quality of the colour. It is part of the Kyo-no-oto range from TAG STATIONERY in Kyoto, which reinterprets traditional Japanese colours with modern interpretations, drawing on Kyoto's long history of dyeing and colour-making.
As a dye-based ink, Sakuranezumi has a natural tendency to create subtle variations in colour as it spreads across the paper. It can also be diluted or gently blurred with water, making it fun to experiment with for creative work.

We gladly accept returns on goods purchased. Please notify us by email within 14 days of delivery if you intend to return your order. The cost of returning undamaged goods will be the responsibility of the customer.
