Kyo-no-oto Ryokuyu-iro No.12 is a rich green ink with shimmering particles inspired by the beautiful green glaze found on traditional pottery.
The name Ryokuyuiro means "green glaze", referring to the distinctive green colour produced by this type of ceramic glaze. The ink combines a deep, natural green with fine shimmer, giving your writing and illustrations an extra sparkle as the particles catch the light.
Part of the Kyo-no-oto range from Tag Stationery in Kyoto, these inks reinterpret traditional Japanese colours, drawing inspiration from Kyoto's long history of dyeing and colour-making.
Ryokuyuiro is particularly suited to glass dip pens, dip pens and brushes, allowing the shimmer to be shown at its best. Give the bottle a good shake before use to distribute the shimmer particles evenly through the ink.

Please note: Due to the shimmer particles, this ink is not recommended for use in fountain pens. The particles can settle in the bottle and may cause clogging, particularly in pens with fine feeds. Always shake the bottle well before use and clean your dip pen or brush thoroughly after use. Colour and shimmer may vary slightly depending on the paper, lighting and screen used.
